Notes on Battery Performance

  • A new OrCam MyEye typically provides 60–90 minutes of continuous use.
    This is because the device is very small so it can fit comfortably on a glasses frame.
  • Like all electronic devices, battery performance decreases over time.

Troubleshooting Steps

If you feel that the battery is draining too quickly, please follow the steps below:

1. Update to the Latest Software Version

  1. Software updates include performance and power-management improvements.

2. Recalibrate the Battery

  • Use the device until the battery reaches 0% and powers off.
  • Charge the device for at least 3 hours using the original OrCam wall charger and a different power outlet.

  • Use only the original OrCam charger.
