Notes on Battery Performance
- A new OrCam MyEye typically provides 60–90 minutes of continuous use.
This is because the device is very small so it can fit comfortably on a glasses frame. - Like all electronic devices, battery performance decreases over time.
Troubleshooting Steps
If you feel that the battery is draining too quickly, please follow the steps below:
1. Update to the Latest Software Version
- Software updates include performance and power-management improvements.

2. Recalibrate the Battery
- Use the device until the battery reaches 0% and powers off.
- Charge the device for at least 3 hours using the original OrCam wall charger and a different power outlet.

If the battery is still losing charge too quickly after completing the steps above, please submit a case with our support team.

Tips for Best Battery Care
- Use only the original OrCam charger.
- The OrCam MyEye charger supports 100–240 V, 50/60 Hz.
- If you do not use your device frequently, charge it at least once a month to maintain battery health.
- Store and transport the device in a cool, dry place:
- Temperature: 32°F to 104°F (0°C to 40°C)
- Relative Humidity: 5% to 90%
- Atmospheric Pressure: 700 hPa to 1060 hPa
