Note: Some older OrCam MyEye devices cannot be updated to the latest software version because their hardware is not compatible.
1. Make Sure the Device Is Connected to WiFi
- Ensure your device is connected to a WiFi network.

Click here to troubleshoot WiFi connection issues. - If the device connects successfully but does not begin downloading the update within 5 minutes, disconnect and reconnect the charger to force the device to reconnect to WiFi.
2. Reboot the Device
- Long-press the power button for about 10 seconds until you hear a “beep”.
- After rebooting, wait 5 minutes to see if the update begins downloading.
3. Try a Different WiFi Network
Switch to another available WiFi network and attempt the update again.
4. Reset Installation Retries (via the User Menu)
- Enter the settings menu.

- Swipe forward until you reach “Reset Installation Retries” and tap to select.
- Follow the prompts to complete the reset.
