White LED Lights Beside the Camera Lens Are Repeatedly Flashing

MyEye

If the white LED lights next to the camera lens are rapidly flashing, this is usually caused by holding down the power button for too long when manually putting the MyEye into suspend mode or waking it up.
Holding the button too long triggers a strobe-like LED mode that cannot be stopped without resetting the device.

Solution

  1. Press and hold the power button until the flashing stops.
(If the LEDs continue flashing, proceed to step 2.)
  2. Allow the battery to fully drain.
Once the device powers off on its own, continue to step 3.
  3. Recharge the device to 100% and turn it on normally.

Important Note

To help prevent this issue in the future, avoid holding the power button for more than 2 seconds when waking the device or placing it into suspend mode.
