OrCam Learn can instantly generate questions about any printed or digital text in order to test your reading comprehension and help you improve. Note that this feature only works when the OrCam Learn device is connected to WiFi

There are two ways to access the reading comprehension feature:

1. Say “Hey OrCam, let’s read.” Read the text out loud, and press the trigger button when you are finished; if you read at least 2 sentences with 75% accuracy or higher, OrCam Learn will automatically generate questions after offering feedback on your reading.

2. Say “Hey OrCam, quiz me”, or “Hey OrCam, ask me” and take a picture of the text. OrCam Learn will then automatically generate questions.

3. At this point, OrCam Learn will prompt you to answer the first question. 

4. Use the laser pointer, which will now appear in “mouse” mode, to point at the correct answer in the text. If you answer incorrectly, you’ll get another chance to answer. 

5. Once you have answered the first question, OrCam Learn will let you know how many more questions you have as part of the reading comprehension test.

Navigating Reading Comprehension

You can press the plus (+) or minus (-) volume button to listen to the question again. If you take more than 20 seconds to answer, OrCam Learn will remind you to point at the correct answer. If after an additional 10 seconds nothing happens, OrCam Learning will announce it is exiting quiz mode.
