There are numerous ways to change the reading speed of your device, these are the easiest:
1. Vocal Commands.
- Double-tap the touch bar. You will hear a long beep.
- Say "Read Faster" or "Read Slower"
- OrCam MyEye will then adjust the reading rate accordingly by one level.
- Repeat this process until the device reads at a comfortable speed.
2. Hey OrCam
- In addition to the traditional double-tap of the touch bar, you may simply say, "Hey OrCam, Read Faster" or "Hey OrCam, Read Slower".
- OrCam MyEye will then adjust the reading rate accordingly by one level.
- Repeat this process until the device reads at a comfortable speed
4. Settings Menu
- You can adjust the reading rate in the "Reading Rate Settings" menu in the user settings menu
